Ancila – One petite lady with a very big vision! Someone, who can put thousands of people down memory lanes of Bombay by just biting into one of her delicious “Batata Vada” - a savoury snack (flavoured potato balls coated with gram-flour and fried) extremely popular in Bombay and eaten by one and all.

In a span of 2 years with the snack & catering business under her belt Ancila (a.k.a. Anu) also saw the potential of providing busy families with fresh home cooked meals delivered to their doorstep. This led to her providing nearly 45 families in and around the GTA with fresh food on a weekly basis. A lot of people depend on this lady’s doorbell for their daily food. As one of her clients very aptly calls her, “anna data” - the provider of food!

The restaurant has a warm ambiance, soft music and a unique dining experience. Ancila inaugurated her first restaurant on Tuesday, 25 April 2006, – Ancila’s Indian Cuisine – at 6905 Millcreek Drive, Mississauga.
